AYS is our digital radio station for new and unsigned local artists and bands that are associated with Appleyard Studios. We are very keen to help promote local music talent and this is a sure fire way to get your music heard by the masses. We already have a number of local bands singed up to be featured on the play list.

How do you sign up?

You must be a member of Appleyard Studios Loyalty Scheme. We have a number of membership schemes available from as low as £25 per year for bands and artists. For this your music gets featured on AYS Radio for a year, discounts on recording and rehearsing at the studios plus a listing on our website and many other benefits from our partner companies. Or for just £15 you get your music on AYS Radio for the year plus all the usual benefits of our loyalty scheme but without a listing on our website.

Does your music fit our criteria? 

We can only accept music which is original and unsigned. This is due to strict nature of copywrite laws that need to be enforced. When you sign up to have your music featured we will send you a declaration form for you to sign and send back to us before your music is featured. 

When will you feature?

Once singed up your music will become part of our playlist for the year from the date of submission.

We will be recording weekly episodes which will be aired on our website and all social media sites such as facebook and twitter. You can also download an app for your phone so you can listen on the go. We will also be recording live broadcasts and sessions with featured artists, so don't be surprised if we give you a call to do an interview or come along and record you at a gig.
