Your time with them was brilliant, from the voice warm-ups through to the mic techniques and then in the actual studio. Having their own photographer all day made them feel famous and the VIP passes just added to the experience.The girls loved the slide show and their own band front cover with the logo that was designed. I have recommended you to everyone I talk to. The day overall surpassed all expectations that I had and I just wanted to thank you so much for making Megan's 13th birthday really special.

November 2010 - Recording for 30th birthday

"I just wanted to say a big thank you for organizing a fantastic afternoon in the studio for Matt's 30th birthday surprise. Ollie and the guitar tutor were brilliant and we all had a great time! They can't wait to hear the CD and I think they will be booking to come again in the spring.

Matt said it was the best birthday present he had ever had, so there is no better testimonial than that! I would recommend it to anyone interested in music looking for something fun and different.

I just wanted to drop you a  line to say thank you for the time we had at Appleyard rehearsing for my 50th birthday party - the studios were in the perfect location for us all and each time we came along and played we had such a fantastic time.

I booked a recording party at Appleyard Studios as a treat for ten friends and I to record our version of Band Aid march 2012. It really was the most fantastic evening, it completely exceeded expectations. Jeff and the team delivered exactly the right balance, offering a relaxed and friendly atmosphere which put us all at ease, but professional, well structured input. The vocal coach even managed to get our group of 'slightly tipsy' girls to harmonise the chorus, amazing! I know it is a night I will never forget, such a great thing to do as a group, absolutely worth every penny!

My 7 year old daughter and 8 of her little friends had the most wonderful day at Appleyard Studios, celebrating her birthday in style with a Popstar Party! Jeff and Ollie were a fantastic double act and pitched it just right for their age group. The day was well paced with the right balance of tuition and fun, the party food was lovely and the recording and photos were much appreciated. As one little guest sighed as we drove away ... Thank you so much Jeff and Ollie for giving my daughter Chloe a fab time at your studios yesterday. It has been chloes dream to sing in a recording studio and yesterday that all happened, she felt like a true star and we will never forget it. It's so nice to have the recordings on a disc so we can always remember the day and listen to her singing over and over again! We will defiantly be booking up to come again and I would recommend your studios to all my friends for an amazing experience. Chloe has been to your studios for a kids pop party and for a recording session on her own and she has loved every minute of it. I have one very happy 11 year old! After winning a competition on the radio to record at Appleyard I was very excited! Having never done anything like this before rather nervous too. The apprehension did not last long however thanks to the lovely Jeff and Ollie. With idyllic surroundings and a calm warming atmosphere I felt. Comfortable straight away! Thank you guys Helen

Pop Star Party - Had my daughters 8th Birthday party here on Sat afternoon and it was the best kids party she has ever had or been too. Jeff & Ollie were great will the girls and made them feel very comfortable. Had lots of feedback from the girls mums saying how much they enjoyed the party and have not stopped talking about it. The CD recording that they all get to bring home is great and went straight on in the car on the way home. It was hassle free for me, just drive there and watch the kids proudly performing. I would 100% recommend this to anyone - child, adult, group or school. We will be back soon. Thanks so much.

Huge thank you to Jeff & Ollie for making Ella's birthday party so fantastic. We were all so excited from the moment we arrived until way after we got home. You were so welcoming and patient with our rabbitting girls. I really like the way you made everyone feel so at home, and the way the girls could grab some food/drink and have a practice all in their own time, with no pressure. They felt like real celebs! We all had the best time. The girls carried on chatting about their experience all day, and agreed it was the best party they'd been too!!! I'd have to agree... We can't wait to come again. Currently rehearsing in Appleyard's biggest rehearsal room. Been brilliant from start to present. Friendly staff (always up for helping with technical issues), great facilities and without a doubt the best value for money in the area! The room itself is plenty big enough for a 5 piece band and holds the sound well with a pretty powerful PA system. Couldn't have asked for a better rehearsal room! Max Davenport (OSR)
